Do you know a woman that is smart and powerful in many ways but still feels like she is missing something in her life? She is often a high achiever and is grateful for her good-enough life. Yet, there is a nagging dissatisfaction at times in her work or relationships.
I know these women. Successful women with big hearts. They seem to be fine for awhile and then they start to crave connection with something more again. Some of these women may even notice that they are getting more anxious or mildly depressed in their life.
Maybe this is you or someone you know. It’s okay to have a lot going on and still want more. This is normal for so many women I know. (And sometimes I feel this too.)
There are ways to figure out how to get “more”. You could work with me, join a women’s circle, or jump here to download a few golden ideas to nourish yourself now.
News that Inspires and Restores Your Soul
Emily Ford and her dog Diggins are hiking the 1200 mile ice age trail in Wisconsin and Minnesota in the snow and frigid temps.
In this article, Emily admits fear can grow when alone in the woods: “I’ve definitely shined my lights in camp and seen two little eyes staring back at me, and that’s scary,” she said, noting that all those fears can be summed up as a general fear of the unknown. And that can be overcome with help and practice.
“Nature levels the playing field for everyone. Get out here. It’s a place to think when the world is crazy. Meditate. And do anything that brings you back to your center.” —Emily Ford
Follow her exciting story here. I personally like how Emily is noticing when her ego wants to push her hard but her essential self knows it is time to rest and restore for a day. People are helping her along the way and even offering handwritten signs for support.

The Ice Age Trail Alliance is also documenting Emily and Diggins’ journey. Follow them here: https://www.facebook.com/iceagetrail
